Our country has lost one it's most influential political leaders. Our nation and the world is in mourning. My sister's fb status update was apt and I couldn't have said it any better myself: "Wisdom, Justice, Equality, Sacrifice and Love. Characteristics embodied and practiced by South Africa's Tata in a temporary world, pointing to the characteristics of the Kingdom in a permanent world to come with the ultimate Father. Goodbye Madiba. Your legacy has shaped a nation. We pray for your beloved South Africa now, that those characteristics will be honoured in it's future and leadership."
Oh blimey! Alexander Wang's pre-fall collection is beyond majestic. Mr Wang was clearly inspired by the lads (so moi). Let's not forget the splendour of his footwear, I'm totally salivating over those brogues and thigh high boots.

I know I'm a little late with this BUT it's Summer in Cape Town and of course, all the ladies are pulling out/buying bathing costumes. Recently, I've been dreaming of Araks latest resort collection, it's just too gorgeous for words. I like the bold colours and the vintage inspired silhouettes. Seriously, how delightful would it be to be frolicking on the beach in one of these swimsuits? It would be heaven.
I'm totally loving Mira Schroder's apartment. Not only does she reside here, this apartment is also a store. She and two other young designers run BLESS and this darling apartment hold all the products for BLESS HOME.

I'm a pinterest addict and if you follow me you'll know this full well. My friends tell me it's a problem but yet they seem to check out my latest pins, so if you haven't you probably should too. So, go forth and see here fo yo-self!
Barbora Vesela's latest collection of shoes was inspired by geological maps and eroded rocks. She used leather leftovers and a classic shoe making technique to create this incredible collection. To watch the process, go here

Hello there! It's almost been a week since I blogged. How tragic? It's the end of the year so right now school has consumed my life but it's all good. One needs to be positive and look on the bright side, I'm almost on holiday ( the perks of being a teacher, eh? you're all jels, I can feel it) and it's Summer!!! Anyway, this is a quick post just to share a track that I cannot get enough of. Chet Faker (and his delicious beard) is one of my faves. Listen to this track by Flume and Mr Faker and you'll love me forevs.

I recently read a blog post by Eric Kim (read here) about photographer,Andre Kertesz(1894 –1985). Since then,I've been terribly interested in his work and decided to share some of my favourite images. I'm in a bit of a rush because I'm going to watch the rugby with my dad (SA vs Scotland). Yes, sometimes I watch the rugby and I like it!
