What do I love about the Rochas Fall 2013 collection? It's the over sized outerwear, the belts clinched at the waist, the circle skirts and the silk pyjamas. To see more go here
Lately, most things (notably fashion) that capture my eye is French, I don't know if that's a sign that I must visit or maybe it's just a coincidence. My sister encouraged me to go, so I guess I have to save like a beast to get there! Anyway, one of those many things is the French label, Celine's S/S 2013 campaign, it's so hot, it's sick. Phoebe Philo is a genius, the make -up and the hair is simple, it's all just so naturally chic. I like the loose tailoring and the monochrome colours.
P.S: Thanks for all the views but jeepers just stop with all the comments. ;)
I'm always smitten with Vogue Paris' editorials, I may subscribe peeps. I have only included shots of Ms Suvi Koponen as I've developed a little bit of a girl crush. See more here

Michel Johannesen is an up and coming fashion designer from Cape Town. Last year, I had the privilege of meeting her at a New Years Eve party. Her label, MiLiJo actually caught my attention a few years before we met. This vibrant and talented young lady has an impeccable eye and a meticulous hand, she has a beautiful soul and an energy that will capture anybody who'll step in her path. I am so delighted to do this Q&A with her.
Visit MiLiJo's website here
1. Tell us about yourself
I'm a 24 years old, freckled young lady who owns the Brand MiLi Jo. I am a proud Jesus child and self proclaimed Daddies girl. I'm obsessed with my Teddy which I sleep with every night called Eyelene. I'm passionate about beautiful things, I admire faithful men, I only expect the truth and deep people inspire me. I'm an old soul.
2. Who or what inspires you?
So many things, too much to mention, but I'll try... God, Nature, passionate people, ideas and dreams. Something weird about me, fabric speaks to me, it tells me what to create...I never design and then create, I work in reverse!
3.Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Myself: Happily married, 2 kids perhaps, in a beautiful comfortable home, in a deeper relationship with Christ and content.
MiLi Jo: Fully grown and blossoming, by then I will be doing bags, shoes and accessories too. God willing have boutiques around the world.
4. What cannot you not live without?
Jesus, my Mommy & Daddy, Vaseline, Mascara, Eyelene ;)
5. What staple item/s of clothing do you think every women should have in their wardrobe?
Every woman looks amazing in a dress, so a beautiful summer dress.
A petty coat :) dress appropriately and like a lady even under your clothes!
Leggings, they are so comfortable! It's one of those things we love to hate.
6. Winter is around the corner, what are your Winter essentials?
•Huge, bold, colourful scarves!
•Layers of clothing ofcourse
7. Who are your style icons and why?
I always struggle to answer this question, because I always need to make up someone, or go google someone lol, so honestly I don't have a specific style icon. I'm not a huge fan of following the celebritys either, I prefer ordinary people in street style so I'd say I'm more inspired by sites such as Lookbook and the Satorialist.
8. Do you have any tips or advice?
Woman, need to accept their beauty, everything starts within! Woman is beautiful.
Once you've accepted this it'll reflect in your life and turn everything around, especially the way you dress! Respect yourself, too much skin was never a good look! Be a lady as your mother taught you to be.
I'm so inspired by this collection, I CANNOT stop thinking about wearing this for Autumn/Winter: cropped trousers, embellished socks and loafers!
Dayum! How good is this??? Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s Fall No.21 collection is to die for . There's something so marvelously vintage and grungy about this collection that it got me all giddy.

Oh how do I love Samantha Pleet, let me count the ways. Every collection has me sighing with admiration,I particuarly adore the frocks from her A/W 2013 collection but check out the rest here. Did I mention that her Wolverine 1000 mile collection of boots are beyond incredible?
Yes! Something for the men, show your lover/boyfriend/fiance/husband, as much as it may annoy them, they always need a womens touch, well not all but most of them. Anyway, I am excited to share Ethel Vaughn's F/W 2013 look book, I like the minimalist designs and the prints. Their clothes seem delightfully comfortable, definitely something I'd like my boyfriend to wear when I'm in need of a Winter cuddle. Shop Ethel Vaughn here
As a woman who passionately loves fashion, I constantly look for inspiration so I was delighted to spot this label on pinterest. The Reracs is a Japanese label, they're pretty unique as they only design clothes using Japanese fabric. This collection grabbed my attention, it's easy to wear, comfortable and ridiculously chic.
Some amazing pieces by Jil Sander, Chanel, Stella McCartney and a few others for Dazed and Confused. March 2013
