If you're following (I see I have people following and it's so encouraging, so thanks) I did a post about flare jeans and I've noticed this trend a few months back from none other than; The Sartorialist. Once the school term is over, I'm looking for the perfect pair. It's always a mission as I do have a bum (if you know what I mean)well actually, these days it's popular, my sister told me they have these panties that have padding around the derrière to give the impression that you've got a ghetto booty . So, I guess I should be proud of my juicy bum. Anyway, that's beside the point. Get the flare! It's back and it's haat! Love this. Bought a pair from Mr.Price but would love a leather pair like these and I wouldn't mind the Burberry bag too Image via: The SartorilaistFrom Paris to New York, the fruity prints and bold florals dominated the runway. Fruit printed dresses from Stella McCartney to bold florals from Erdem. Even though, we're in Autumn, this trend should dominate our wardrobes(that's of course, if you're into trends as much as I am). The advantage of living in the Southern hemisphere is that our Winter months are mild in comparison to the Northern hemisphere, so I feel I have the freedom to experiment. I'd love a bold floral dress (midi length), match it with a blazer and lace up ankle boots. I'm gonna give it a go! Hope these images inspire you as much as it did me. Images via: FashionspotSienna's outfit is so simple but she looks so fabz! (especially the top knot). Like seriously, I would wear something like that at home and wouldn't put my toe out the front door, just because I wouldn't be able to pull this off. I would look and feel like a bergie. Sienna is a stylish and saucy little minx! Image via: LefashionI saw these images of Daphne Guinness and literally gasped. Jeepers, her style is so effortless! Her shoes are a-mazing, I have no idea if I could walk in those, let alone crouch so elegantly. To the untrained eye, these gorgeous Natacha Marro wedges would seem hideous but whatevs, each to their own! If you don't know who Daphne Guinness is, she's heiress to the Guinness family, a fashion icon and journalist. Images via: Streetfsn .I'm currently craving a pair or two of Swedish hasbeens. I'd love to pair them with flares, palazzo pants or a long skirt. I see they're still going strong at Topshop (I hear there may be a store opening in Jo'burg- oh yeah!!) as it goes well with the latest 70's trend. I think they fabulous for the cooler Autumn months. The clog trend is so last year (in my opinion, anyway), I remember Chanel brought the trend back and a year later most South African stores are stacked with high heeled clogs. Anyway, I think the Swedish hasbeens have more character. Would look cute with a pair of socks too. Do you feel it?Do you love it? then wear it! :) Images via: Swedishhasbeens.comYvan Rodic from the very well known blog: face hunter is here!!! I'm gonna try my bestest to go, I've realised I have report comments to finish and many other things to complete-dang!!!. If you're able to make your way into the city then, please go!
Winter is almost here and I'm excited! Those of you who know me personally, know that I love layering and Winter is the perfect season to do that. I'm saving up for a decent camera so I can snap pictures of myself, watch this space com padres! Here are a few trends that I'll be trying this Winter: Camel CoatsWide legged pantsLeather (skirts, biker jackets, pants)Pleated maxi skirtMidi length skirtsLong skirtsFedora HatsFur CoatsImages via: All the pretty birds,Vanessa Jackman,Trendycrew, Fashion Vibe, Mr.NewtonThis women's coat, shoes and bag are puuurrrrrfect! miiaaaooww!
Image via: The Sartorialist I had a previous post about palazzo pants. It's probably best worn with a vest and considering the fact that Autumn is around the corner, a fitted cardigan would be suitable for the cooler upcoming months. I was browsing through Topshop and found these babies! Enjoy! Another fashion icon from fashion squad |
