I recently read this post by Sarah from Honey of a Thousand Flowers. The bearded man is her husband and this was his idea. It's fantastic and kinda funny all at the same time.

If you follow me on twitter, you may have read my tweets about Marlon Brando. Not only was he ridiculously HOT in his younger days, he was also an amazing actor.

Lately, I've been listening to Chet Baker. He had THE most soothing voice ever, I actually fell asleep to his music once before. Listen to my favourite Chet Baker track here
Today, my sister uploaded this Frida Kahlo inspired picture of herself on Instagram. I like it...a lot.
Words cannot express how ingenious this is. These were shot by Alix Rose Cowie, a Cape Town based photographer which I've previously blogged about here. She is definitely one of my most favoured photographers and one cannot ignore the genius styling by Kate Desmarais. They were inspired by Hadouken which are;" based on moves from Street Fighter and Dragon Ball Z".

This editorial for the May issue of Vogue Russia is just lovely, as much as I love the cool weather it makes me long for Summer all over again.

Emma Block's style portraits of icons are quite delightful. it highlights their well known characteristics and styles. I often watch old movies and wonder how these iconic birds maintained their looks, so I was pretty pleased when I discovered Ms Block's illustrations, it's rather informative.
Bassike is an Australian label that I spotted via Yenny of Studded Hearts. Their S/S 2013 collection is severely comfortable and fashionably casual. As I've previously confessed, I've redeveloped a crush on birkenstocks. I need to get them
For those of you who visit Freunde von Freunden, you most probably drooled over Louise and Charles' Parisian apartment. As I'm frantically searching for a new place the decor is not only inspirational but is also wildly impressive.
Who doesn't love being at the beach/river/lake? You'd be crazy not to. Here are a few images that I love of people enjoying the gift of water.
Barry Hullegie for Elle Netherlands, March 2013.
I'm still really smitten with Delpozo's F/W 2013 collection. I love all the volume, the structure, the colours ( burgundy, fuschia, cinnamon and emerald green) and the embroidery. I know I said I'd share all my vintage treasures but I am working on something that's taking longer than expected and it'll executed at the right time. Happy Weekend!
