This collection is so dreamy. If you're a future bride, feel the inspiration!
I've become quite addicted to flickr, I've discovered such amazing photography and art. Lately I've been checking out Monika Traikov's photostream. The visual experimentation is so cool, it's a little eerie but I like it.
I'm loving Andrew and Carissa's blog, they're a pretty cool and creative couple. Carissa is a photographer and Andrew a filmmaker (together they own Vs the Brain). They beautifully capture simple everyday moments and share it with the world. I really love the photography, I spent copious amount of time looking at their blog and I suggest you do too.
Samantha Pleet is tickling my fancy at the moment. Her AW 2012 collection has a peasant girl/folklore feel to it which had me aching with satisfaction, I particuarly like the frocks, wool poncho's and brown boots.
I've been obsessing over No.6, a store in Little Italy, New York (owned by vintage collector Morgan Yakus and stylist Karin Bereson), The past week, I've been delightfully looking at their blog. They stock a selection of independent contemporary designer pieces, vintage as well as their own line of clothes and shoes. It's awesome.
Erdem's Resort 2013 Collection is so beautifully executed,it's sophisticated and purely feminine . I'm particuarly enamored with the blue lace and the incredible prints.
Here's another bit if history for you all. As a kindergarten/ pre-school teacher, analysing these images of a daily class routine in 1905 made me realise that not much has changed. Thanks to Roz Leibowitz for this visual pleasure,Leibowitz found this gem at a flea market. I love the beauty and splendour of flea markets, it's like an out door museum with many hidden treasures.
This is possibly the cutest lookbook ever! This afternoon I fell inlove with Fleur and Dot, thanks to Eunice from What's your tale nightingale for introducing me to this adorable label, it really makes me wish I had a little girl. Hope you all had a splendid weekend, mine was off the hizzay foh shizzay.
