That's all for now people
I recently joined instagram, so I thought I'd conform and share a few of my pictures. If you're not from this side of the world, here's a sneak peak of Autumn in Cape Town.
School work, tea and a good magazine. I thoroughly enjoy the latter
I like old churches
Cape Town and it's amazing vineyards
The beach ( should I say more?)
That's where we all go at times.
Pretty ducks having a splash in a pond
A beautiful vintage tapestry bag
Vintage cars are sexy and so is this one.
Autumn leaves and my vintage boots
That's me right there. What's the point of joining instagram if you're not going to take a selfie
These vintage leather clogs. PS: all of my stock is available at The Deer Hunter so if you're in Cape Town, you should totally visit!
I love my vintage turtleneck.
That's all for now people
Oh, how much I love Thakoon Addition's Resort 2014 collection, it's sporty yet feminine. Just as style.com reveals Thakoon Panichgul's inspiration;
"He'd been thinking, he said, of the Ur-sexy-athletic girl, Cindy Crawford, in her eighties and nineties heyday..." I am in awe and absolute wonder.
1205's F/W 2013 collection caught my eye today, why? Well,It's the wide cut trousers, the tailored blazers and that jumpsuit. It's classic but with a significant edge. I wanted to share the men's f/w collection with you but check out the women's here.
Good day! I was wondering if I must do this post every month? I probably should, so here it is for the month of May, some things I like right now.
Artichoke souffle by Mimi Thorrisson
Mimi Thorisson's blog, Manger is one of my favourite food blogs. Her recent post on artichokes is so scrumptiously inviting that this recipe is definitely on my to do list. This hunny lives in the French country side and regularly updates her blog with beautiful photography and delish recipes.
Furry slippers by Celine
These furry Celine slippers/furkenstocks ( I like them and I don't care who knows it) are everywhere and I would wear it like this gal from stop it right now ( another fave style blog).

Robyn & Roxanne
Robyn and Roxanne is a cool South African shoe brand. How hot are their leather babies?
I'm so inspired by Phoebe and Annette Stephens style AND their jewelry line, Anndra Neen is enough to make one drool.

Beardrevered is a website that's purely dedicated to "worshipping facial hair". Check. it. out
This window shot by Sue Scimeca
I'm loving all the black and white ( it's hot for Autumn/Winter as well as those socks with the heels) BUT these culottes are rocking my sweet little world.

All the pretty birds recently interviewed Chiara Totire. I absolutely adore her style, it's so effortless and what stood out for me was her simple beauty regime. Read it here
DKNY Resort 2014
The amazing Ana Kras for Clyde F/W 2013, shot by Jody Rogac. I quickly wanted to share this with you as I'm leaving for a teacher's conference this weekend. Have a lovely weekend one and all.
Siloa and Mook is a new Finnish label that I recently spotted on good 'ol pinterest. I like the cropped tailored pants, the knitted sweaters (I'm totally into turtlenecks right now) , the loose fitted coats and the patent leather pieces.
Marlow and Co. is a French brand created by British designer, Alexis Tuersley. She creates fanciful head jewellery and ornamental knitwear. What captured my attention is that her creations are made with vintage materials and some are illustrated by famous authors such as Virginia Woolf and Francoise Sagan. I decided to share her S/S 2013 collection with you but visit Marlow and Co. to view more of Alexis outstanding designs.
"MARLOW AND CO. was born in June 2012, when Alexis developed her "pièces-bijoux" which are designed for women who prefer the refinement of detail in her pieces, rather than a total look. As a sure sign of an aesthete, each of Alexis' creations tells a particular story."
The detail of her creations are appealing and strikingly original. I particularly love her flower crowns, it'll be the perfect adornment for Spring.
Vintage inspired and I'm loving the messy beehive. It's raw and that's just the way I like it.

I have religiously blogged about Alexander Terekhov ( see here and here) simply because his creations are extraordinary. His A/W 2013 collection was inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov's novel, Master and Margarita and by the late fashion designer ,Elsa Schiaparelli.
