Thanks to Jo from Pretty Pretty for introducing me to (Ma + Chr) who are artists based in Paris. I've always found art collages to be quite interesting, so when I spotted these I definitely had to share them with all of you. I highly recommend you go pay them a visit and check out the rest of their art as well as their awesome interior and graphic design.
Love, love, love this editorial for Harper's Bazaar Australia (June/July 2012). It reminds me so much of the 90's.
Photographer: Victor Demarchelier Model: Emily Baker As a teacher, I love kids, I love paper and I love art, so I really dig these by Fideli Sundqvist shot by Maria Wretblad. Go have a look at her work.
I must admit, I've become addicted to the internet simply because I discover the most awesome things. One of those amazing things is Jennifer Causey, she's a photographer and my goodness to say that I love her work is an understatement. She's the mastermind behind The Makers, one of her series that I blogged about here. Thanks to her, I've recently developed a love for food photography, there's just something so appealing and beautiful about it and Jennifer definitely captures that. Speaking of which, another food blog that I frequently visit is Candice Le Noury's (who recently got engaged, congrats!!), The Georgeous Gourmet, there are a variety of scrumptious recipe ideas. Go visit and start pinning away!!
I'm excited to let you know that I won the fancy french cologne giveaway over at miss moss. I've never won anything before, so this is pretty awesome to say the least. Anyway, another resort collection that has also brought much delight to my day is by Maison Martin Margiela. It has menswear inspired silhouettes, a generally neutral palette which I am a fan of and how can I forget those tan pumps, I definitely need a pair or two of those . To see the rest of the collection, go here
Summerland is an online store that stocks some awesome vintage, accessories and cool designer pieces. Below are some of my favourites but I particularly LOVE those clutches. I suggest you immediately hop on over to their shop, no holding back and go wild.
As I wait with bated breath to see The Great Gatsby,I coincidentally spotted this editorial for Elle France shot by David Vasiljevic. I adore the vintage inspired styling and the cast of models who so eloquently depict F.Scott Fitzgerald's most celebrated work.
Kormakur & Skjoldur is a menswear label based in the Netherlands, I'm drooling over the classic suits. This is a gorgeous lookbook, the choice of ruggedly handsome and bearded men in well tailored suits creates a wonderful contrast.
I haven't done a post on vintage photography for a while so I was excited when I stumbled upon Christer Stromholm's work. I like his street photography and portrait series but I particularly love his work in Paris. Here are randoms that caught my eye but visit his website to see more.
