Before the weekend begins, I quickly want to share Zara kids latest look book. It's just oozing with so much cool. If you're a parent, feel the inspiration for your little ones.
Quitokeeto is a cool pop up shop, the store has culinary and vintage staples ranging from knives, raw honey and glasses. Not only am I enamoured with their awesome goodies but I'm also loving the photography. Please visit their store, it'll be worth your while.
Wisdom is a Taiwanese urban label. Many of these pieces for this F/W lookbook was inspired by Christopher McCandless novel, Into the wild. It's evident as it clearly has a strong influence for the outdoors but with that in mind there's also brilliant tailoring and there's an apparent attention to detail. In my opinion some of these pieces remind me of Sherlock Holmes.
I love the 80's, there are many things I love about that era; the music, movies, fashion but above all, I dearly love the hair. When I spotted Jenny Hart's illustrations from her high school year book (her series is called: Study Hall) I definitely had to show all of you. My choices below are based on the gorgeously horrific hair but visit her website and have a look at the rest of her drawings and embroidery work; it's all so delightful.
“I was just tired of all that glamour around me, and I wanted to wear sneakers.” Vika Gazinskaya
I can totally relate! In all honesty, I could wear loafers, brogues and sneakers for the rest of my life. Many may not dig this trend but I do. Vika Gazinskaya is one of my style icons and I love her take on the sneaker trend, she wears them with something feminine and rocks them like no other. It reminds me of New York women in the 80's ( I've never been to NY but from my observation they wore them while walking from A to B, right?) but I love this and I love Ms Vazinskaya, would you give this a go? I may just do it.
As I mentioned in my previous post,I'll be sharing some of my fave editorials, this is obviously one of them for Elle France (August 2012). There are many elements to this editorial that I love, one of which is the styling (duh), it's feminine but with a casual and quirky twist (hence the title). On another note, just to let you know that I've recently become a guest blogger for Vintage Lifestyle Magazine, do yourself a favour and read their latest issue. Look out for my posts on their blog but I highly recommend you read the others, it's informative and vintage fabulous.

I didn't blog as frequently last week as my sister surprised from Australia for my birthday so I was spending quality time with her. Anyway, there have been some editorials that I've been looking at over the past week and I wanted to share a few with you. First up; I love the styling for this editorial for Vogue Russia (September 2012).

These vintage photographs of geisha's during the Meiji era is oh so cool. I'm so used to seeing them covered in their kimono's but these geisha's posing in swimsuits are rather rare and special.

Miranda Kerr is so hot it's sick. She was snapped by her hottie husband, Orlando Bloom for T: The New York Times Style Magazine. I will admit I kinda like her sandals (especially in the fourth image), it's a little German touristy but it's hot and fabulous. I just have to get me a pair for Summer.
I've always admired Michael Graydon's work and I'm surprised that it took me this long to share it with all of you.
The atmosphere of his photographs are so appealing and the darker tone of lighting in the first and second last image are really enticing, he primarily photographs gorgeous interiors as well as a variety of dining scenario's, which is so extraordinary.
