I'm a 24 years old, freckled young lady who owns the Brand MiLi Jo. I am a proud Jesus child and self proclaimed Daddies girl. I'm obsessed with my Teddy which I sleep with every night called Eyelene. I'm passionate about beautiful things, I admire faithful men, I only expect the truth and deep people inspire me. I'm an old soul.
2. Who or what inspires you?
So many things, too much to mention, but I'll try... God, Nature, passionate people, ideas and dreams. Something weird about me, fabric speaks to me, it tells me what to create...I never design and then create, I work in reverse!
3.Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Myself: Happily married, 2 kids perhaps, in a beautiful comfortable home, in a deeper relationship with Christ and content.
MiLi Jo: Fully grown and blossoming, by then I will be doing bags, shoes and accessories too. God willing have boutiques around the world.
4. What cannot you not live without?
Jesus, my Mommy & Daddy, Vaseline, Mascara, Eyelene ;)
5. What staple item/s of clothing do you think every women should have in their wardrobe?
Every woman looks amazing in a dress, so a beautiful summer dress.
A petty coat :) dress appropriately and like a lady even under your clothes!
Leggings, they are so comfortable! It's one of those things we love to hate.
6. Winter is around the corner, what are your Winter essentials?
•Huge, bold, colourful scarves!
•Layers of clothing ofcourse
7. Who are your style icons and why?
I always struggle to answer this question, because I always need to make up someone, or go google someone lol, so honestly I don't have a specific style icon. I'm not a huge fan of following the celebritys either, I prefer ordinary people in street style so I'd say I'm more inspired by sites such as Lookbook and the Satorialist.
8. Do you have any tips or advice?
Woman, need to accept their beauty, everything starts within! Woman is beautiful.
Once you've accepted this it'll reflect in your life and turn everything around, especially the way you dress! Respect yourself, too much skin was never a good look! Be a lady as your mother taught you to be.
