I'm a 29 year old Attorney from Cape Town, South Africa. I love fashion and dressing up and decided to start my personal style blog earlier this year. Other than clothing, I am passionate about animal rights, my family and my amazing boyfriend.
In your opinion, what should every woman have in her wardrobe?
Every woman should have that item in their wardrobe that make them feel like a million bucks. This could be anything from a little black dress to a pair of amazing stiletto's, but make sure you have that one item you know you can wear when to look and feel fabulous.
Summer is around the corner, list your Summer essentials
Im actually composing a blog post on that this week! I would say a great pair of summer flats, a printed dress that suits your figure and anything with sequins for warm summer nights.
What can you not live without?
Tough one as there are so many but I'll narrow it down to eyeliner. I look really pale and weird without it!
Who are your style icons and why?
Chiara Ferragni from the The Blonde Salad for her amazing personal style with that elusive Italian touch. Im also loving Kate Middleton, Anne Hathaway and Queen Rania for their more classic, sophisticated and timeless looks.
Your skin and hair is amazing, please tell us what beauty products do you use?
Thank you!! I alternate between Ponds Flawless Radiance Face Wash on weekdays and follow that up with the matching moisturizer. Mid-week on Wednesday and on the weekends, I use Dr Haushka Cleansing Cream which is just incredible and feels as if I've just washed my face with ice cream :) At the moment, Im using the MicaBella Mineral Foundation which is proving to be especially lightweight for summer. I treat my hair with a Brazilian Blowdry every 3 months or so, and use sulphate free shampoo to care for it in between. I find that my hair looks healthier and shinier as one has to spend less time on drying or styling and so my hair has less exposure to heat.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, which actress would you like to play as YOU? And why?
Ideally, I'd like to play myself lol! I've been told I have very strange facial expression which Im sure would be difficult to imitate ha! But if I had to choose, I'd pick Lindsay Lohan. I find her gorgeous and talented which is often overlooked due to her never-ending scandalous behaviour.
Any tips or advice?
As I turn 30, I have come to realise that beyond clothing and make-up, a woman's beauty really is essentially the most visible in the way she carries herself and her confidence in her life and the choices that go with it. Be bold, be brave and don't settle for anything less than you dream of. Take care of your both your mind and body and remember that the way you portray yourself to the world is a complete package :)
